March 10, 2019 - can't remember what day it is. No room at the Inn
Yes, we got up at the confusing hour and broke camp -- late in one state but early in another -- heading for the Colorado river and a NV State Park known as "The Big Bend in the Colorado." Of course, since it is always first come first serve, we knew we were taking a chance and sure enough, our luck was not there. But I will say this, we made it to the park!! The place did not seem like something we needed to experience -- mostly river and boating and since we didn't have any of that stuff, we decided not to camp in the waiting line -- overflow camping. Only 24 spots and waiting list was already 5 rigs long.
Headed back out and on our way east we ran into a familiar phenomena at a California state border:
We found a nice little spot up here, overlooking this beautiful desert at BLM camping (free),
with unlimited sunrises and sunsets and even less rules.
Right now we are watching TV on the digital antenna (you never know, gotta try it) and have a clear signal for the Aretha memorial concert -- amazing! I feel like I am back home in the "D."
Tomorrow, who knows what. Right now I am enjoying this dark space with a little technology.

Never did find out what was going on down there but I can tell you there was no SNOW.
So here we are:
