Searching for Pesos -- An all day Job. Monday, 3/13/18

Yoga first.  Nice workout.  Great way to start the day here in Baja.

Back home and here are the skeleton pants you guys want to see.

Nice huh?

But before that a beautiful sunrise -- right here in my front yard!  These pictures were taken 15 minutes apart and in this order.

We girls went shopping today.  Yes, we spent about 5 hours spending about $30 between the 3 of us.  Amazing how time flies.

We went in search of the almighty peso.  Here in San Felipe there are a few places (aka ATM's) to get money.  Always pesos, but availability never certain.  We went to 3 places where the machine said basically, "sorry no money left here."  Finally we went to the banko.  Here they had many machines.  My friend inserted her card and asked for a withdrawal but after 3 times of pushing buttons (something she is known for), the machine took her card!!!  We asked the bank employee what to do.  He spoke English well and managed to get that card back for her without any other form of identification than another credit card with her name on it.  Can you believe that?  Only in San Felipe.  So, she tried it again in another one of the machines and it again said:  sorry, can't process your transaction.  So we asked another fine employee of the bank who didn't speak English but with the little bit of Spanish we understood, we figured out that their bank and her bank do not reciprocate.  So beware fellow Americans, check the back and forth talk between your bank at home and the one here in MX before you try to get pesos out.  In the end, Bank of America saved our days -- I withdrew enough for her on my card and floated her a loan.

Tonight was our caravan's night to cook dinner for the folks so we gathered at the beachfront campsite we have and Russ and Steve cooked a fine dinner for all.  Spaghetti and lamb chops, salad, bread and zucchini.  Sweet!

I know you are Jealous, all of you😉

Here is what happened later:  You guys from the Sierra will recognize this as "Alpenglow".

We will be out of any kind of service for 3-5 days.  I'll try to catch you all up when we get back.  In the meantime.  Be good to each other.

Nitey nite.
