Something is Rotten in Baja -- The wind. 3/14/18

We broke camp on Wednesday and headed down to Gonzaga bay.  Stopped for hot dogs at Hot Dog Patty’s and you can tell we are getting older as we only had one dog apiece.  Here is an oasis of Americana alongside a beautiful Mexican coastline.  Nemo is the BIG MAN who presides over the little bistro.  Here you will find only hot dogs – plain and simple – on the menu.  Beer (Tecate, Tecate Light and Sol) and Coke and Sprite too.  Of course he has all of the accompaniments – onions, pickle relish, catsup, mustard and flys – of course flys.  This place would not be the same without those pesky little buggers.

Here are the 4 of us enjoying some doggies!!

Oh, and in the ladies room, I found this curious, little sign??

Back in the RV’s and onto Baluga, the campground of preference down here.  Stopped along the way for this awesome view.

Some really nice fellow travelers took this photo of us at the rest stop.

When we arrived at the campground the wind was just picking up.  Oh no, I thought, wind usually blows for 3 days – this is day 1.  Maybe that will not be true this time, or maybe it has been blowing down here for 2 days already and this is the third.

Here is a picture from our campsite.

The one on the right is the shower, the left the potty.

Early dinner at Pat & Steve’s and I beat Russ at cribbage.  Hope tomorrow will surprise me and the wind will die down.

Oh, here is a picture of Wednesday mornings sunrise – again not too shabby.
