Day 30, One Whole Month -- Both of us Still Alive! July 19, 2017
This morning was a run day for Kappy and it was wonderful!! Woke up to sun and 70 degrees. Got lost, no problem, found a lake, (in the land of 10,000 - it was easy), got a wonderful shower. Then spent the rest of the day reading and watching a storm roll in. We were supposed to host an early dinner and swimfest at our trailer this afternoon but as the day wore on, it became apparent it would be a rainout. Not to worry, Rachael and Tom said -- come on over to our house!!
What a pleasure that was. We met their new doggie Buster (a miniature golden-doodle) and re-met their awesome children Kathrine and Noah. They live in a really sweet neighborhood in Minneapolis. Their home was build in 1920 and the only picture I got was this one -- hobbit sized doors.
We had a really nice time. Good conversation and good food. That's all it takes. When we left, they stood at the front door -- midwest style -- and didn't go inside until we drove off. LOVE IT!

Tomorrow we head up north to see the rest of the 10,000 lakes -- we will be freewheeling this time, looking for a camping space with no reservation. Don't need no hookups. May not have any cell service. Check back when I can!
