Day at the Museum - Day 13, July 1, 2017

Made it through 3.5 miles this morning, early.  Evidently, about 5000' is just about my maximum comfort level -- who knew elevation could be such a touchy subject?  Anyways, feeling good about that today.

After we cleaned up, we headed out to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West Museum.  We spent 4 hours there and still have quite a bit more to see.  Fortunately the cost of admission for Seniors is $17 and it allows entry for 2 days.  This is a must do if you are ever in Cody, WY. Learned alot about the natural history of this area, the native American people and the History of Buffalo Bill Cody.  What an interesting man.  He lived so many lives in his small life.  Unfortunately his family life was tragic.  He had 4 children and 3 of them died.  His wife divorced him because he was never home and he died penniless.  But he had a lot of FUN!

After all of that standing I told Russ I needed to have an IPA at the Silver Dollar Bar in town.  He obliged and we shared a philly cheese steak with onion rings.   No dinner tonight!!

Back to the museum after a little bit of chores (making sure the AC is working, shopping and gassing up) tomorrow.  The weather here is heating up and where we are going next forecasts to be 104 degrees.
